Undersea Explorer be covered for Emergency Medical Evacuation Assistance prior to
departure.
Undersea Explorer is a Divers Alert Network (DAN) S.E. Asia Pacific
Sponsor who supports and recommends DAN to all passengers and believes that this international
non-profit organization is improving diver safety through the services that they
offer. Revenue that is received is used to offer members medical consultations (DAN funds
the DES Phone which is a free call available to all injured divers within Australia), and
to collect and analyze diving injury and fatality information. DAN has developed education
programs to train divers in the management of diving injury and they also offer worldwide
evacuation TravelAssist and affordable dive injury insurance to members.

In the event of an accident or illness, whether diving-related or not,
you can now be evacuated to the nearest appropriate medical facility. This service is
valid, worldwide, (exceptions: Vanuatu, the Arctic and Antarctica) for a period of 30 days
from the commencement date of your policy which must be purchased at least 12 hours prior
to any diving activities.

The Yearly Membership includes:
- Diver Evacuation Assistance (whether diving-related or not) for a year from activation
of membership
- First Aid Manual
- Membership Card and Decal with all the emergency phone numbers for the region
- Subscription to the Alert Divers Magazine which has the latest safety information on
diving and discounts on dive safety products
Relevant forms can be completed upon boarding the Undersea Explorer or
contact Undersea Explorer Reservations. We suggest that these forms are read thoroughly,
especially "Some Exclusions and General Provisions of DAN TravelAssist".

Undersea Explorer does not make this compulsory but would like to make
all passengers joining the Undersea Explorer aware of these options. TravelAssist is
medical evacuation assistance only, this is not medical or travel insurance. DAN
does have available a selection of Dive Injury Insurance also, for further information
